What the system actually does.
Multi-stage pre-filters
Sediment and carbon stages remove chlorine, chloramine, and particulates that would damage the RO membrane.
Reverse-osmosis membrane
Semi-permeable membrane rejects 99%+ of dissolved contaminants — arsenic, PFAS, lead, fluoride, nitrates. Only water molecules pass through.
Storage tank + final polish
Filtered water collects in a small tank under the sink, then passes through a carbon polish before reaching the faucet. Fresh-tasting every pour.
Optional remineralization
RO strips minerals along with contaminants. We can add a remin stage if you prefer water with a slight mineral profile for taste.

About this system.
How fast does it actually fill a glass?
Storage tank dispenses at full pressure — glass fills in about 5–7 seconds. The membrane itself is slow (that's why there's a tank), but you never wait on it.
Does RO waste water?
Modern systems waste less than older ones — typical ratio is 2:1 waste to product. For a family of four that's maybe 6–10 gallons of extra water use per day, which is negligible on most bills.
Will it remove the good minerals?
Yes, along with the bad. Most people don't notice. If you want mineralization back, we add an optional remin cartridge.
Can it connect to the fridge?
Yes — ice and water dispensers get a clean feed. We run the line during install.
